Annular “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse

Two solar eclipses criss-cross Texas in 6 months! This is a rare and exceptional circumstance for any particular spot on Earth.    The first annular eclipse will be visible here in the Hill Country of Texas on October 14, 2023.  The centerline of the eclipse enters Texas at approximately 10:17am CDT, with annularity beginning in that location at about 11:41am CDT.
