27 Sep We’re Going Modern: The Tinsmith’s Wife Online Shop
When we started The Tinsmith’s Wife shop, our goal was to create a gathering place for everything needlework. And something we could enjoy together as a family. We wanted to create a place where a community of people could share and learn the joys of needlework. Our doors opened in Fall 2008 with the hope of making that dream a reality.
These years have been a joy for us. We have befriended so many wonderful and talented crafters! Many that are outside of ‘comfortable’ driving distance from Comfort. But, they still keep in close contact via Facebook, Instagram, Ravery, and our newsletters.
Dream Big
As we are on the verge of our tenth anniversary, now is the time for another expansion to our dream. We are delighted to announce that The Tinsmith’s Wife has launched a small online shop! I will ‘curate’ a variety of projects that may inspire you to knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, or punch needle with frequent updates. If you have seen the shop, you know that we will not have all of our inventory online – kind of a giant there. However, you can always still just give us a ring, and we can get something that is not on the online shop to you.
We will miss having the chance to connect and speak to you via telephone when you order something; however, do know that the security and ease of snapping up that next project is super awesome too.
The Tinsmith’s Wife will soon be 10 – and what a beautiful journey! As is our tradition, we do have a project and goodies that have been designed special for our anniversary. Definitely a chance to try out the new online shop. AND our in-person celebration will be happening in Comfort on Saturday, September 29th (10 – 5). We hope you can pop over! (If you need an excuse, we will also have the Cousins’ Lobster Truck here loaded with yummy goodies as well as cake, etc.)
