Local Needlepoint Shop Day 2022!

Local Needlepoint Shop Day 2022!

Join us for Local Needlepoint Shop Day this coming Saturday, October 22nd from 10 am to 5 pm.

This is a national event to celebrate needlepoint – and we hope to have you join us.    We are also thinking of this as a continuation of our anniversary party – wahoo!

What is Happening?

Saturday will be a day filled with joy – or at least that is what we have ordered!

First off – to thank you for an amazing year – we are offering 15% off all in-stock needlepoint canvases on Saturday! And if you cannot join us in person – don’t worry, you can use the code LNS2022 in our online shop on Saturday as well.

Despite not having the chance to go to Frisco’s needlepoint market this past week – we have been getting new canvases in almost daily. (Yes, Mom is a great buyer and keeps up on it.) Below are some of my favorites that have arrived recently! I do promise to continue to add more canvases to our online shop over the week so you can take a look.

We will also have prize drawings for several canvases that have been donated by our vendors such as Laura Love Designs & Painted Pony – as well as the chance to win a Needlework System 4 Stand! Yes, a NWS4 stand! (All on-line purchases will be added to our drawing.)

Then we are having a special raffle to raise funds for the Comfort Table – the prize includes a needlepoint stocking cuff canvas, 1 hour of Terri’s time, and a great bag made by Darian! To enter this raffle – bring shelf-stable food products (can also include pet food) and/or make a donation to the Comfort Table This organization does such amazing work within our community, and we hope to add a little fuel their efforts!

We also have a gift from Custom House of Needle Arts & Finger Step Steps of a counted canvas pattern to make a fun floral piece – Sassy Flowers! Such a great way to learn a few new stitches and use stash fibers to boot.

And without fail – we are celebrating with treats! We will be having a platter full of cookies from the talented baker, Kimberly, from Hens & Heifers here in Comfort… Maybe some milk and coffee – and maybe more!. Yummm!

In all – we are planning to have a day filled with happiness and hope you can join us!

We are having a small class on Sunday, October 23rd with the Kelly Clark Witch Pumpkin – Terri is teaching and has created a great stitch guide for it. We have one spot left in the class! Please let us know if you would like to join us. The class is for an advanced beginner – and will get you comfortable with beads and a few new stitches!
