What better way to spend a Saturday than to celebrate needlepoint and all the glorious ways that it allows us to create. Whether you are able to join us physically in Comfort – or if you join us remotely – what a fun day we will have!
Needlepoint finished projects range from festive Christmas ornaments and stockings to cozy pillows to brick covers to fanciful pictures and decorations for holidays… The pieces are lovely in simple tent stitch or elaborate surface work. In all – this craft is one that creates lasting pieces to enjoy through the years.
We are ready to celebrate with you this Saturday! If you do not yet needlepoint, don’t fret – we have an amazing teacher in Terri who can get you started on this fun journey.
Many have been wondering how we plan to celebrate Local Needlepoint Shop Day – and I am hoping that this will let the cat out of the bag! SMILE
Please know that if you are farther afield and cannot be with us in person, I will be posting videos, etc. on Instagram and Facebook to share the shop and our inventory over the next couple of days. I have not been able to upload all of our inventory for you to shop online – apologies, there was more than I knew. Beautiful hand-painted canvases are expensive, so what a joy when you can get a discount on a beautiful piece that talks to you! To help celebrate Local Needlepoint Shop Day – we are offering 20% off on all in-stock needlepoint canvases on Saturday.
DARIAN’S PROJECT BAGS
We are so excited to have Darian returning with her hand-crafted one-of-a-kind project bags for a trunk show on Saturday.
She has turned her attention to the needs of needlepointers and will have a variety of great bags! I will definitely take a few pictures and videos and post on Facebook and Instagram as well – so be sure to make contact as soon as you see something neat. Her bags went fast during Local Yarn Shop Day.
MOROCCAN TILES KIT
If you have been to the shop in the past year, you have seen Dad working on this piece. It is all finished – and we will have the framed piece here at the shop on Saturday.
The canvas in tandem with the stitch guide is an exploration in different stitches and fibers. We have created kits if you would like to enjoy. The kit includes the Kate Dickerson Moroccan Tiles canvas, all the fibers/beads needed (e.g., Silk & Ivory, Vineyard, Silk Lame, etc.), as well as the stitch guide.

LOWERY WORKSTANDS
We are in love with these amazing and sturdy workstands that are crafted in the United Kingdom. If you have not yet experienced the ease of stitching with one of these – this is the perfect time. We are offering the silver/grey stands for $110 (regular price $140) for Saturday only, and you can purchase these in our online shop.
We also work to always have a variety of accessories to make this little frame do pretty much all you need it to do. Honestly, once you have your needlework held for you – your whole body is more comfortable.
