Introduction to Making Dorset Buttons

February 9 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Learn how to make a basic Cart Wheel Dorset Button in this one-day, four-hour class, taught by Joy Miller, of Cibolo, Texas.

Dorset Buttons have a rich Western European history, and the variation possibilities are endless. These beautiful hand-made buttons can adorn sweaters, scarves, jackets, needlework projects, Christmas trees, hair, jewelry, keyrings… and so much more!

The craft itself is very portable; all supplies can be stored inside a small bag, then stashed in your purse.
Just bring your small scissors and beverage, because Joy provides all the other materials you’ll need for class, even your pretty rose-patterned Clasp Wallet!

When you register, please tell us what color Rose Clasp Wallet you choose (Aqua, Black, White, or Pink).
Joy Miller began sewing troll-doll clothes at age 8, and over the decades has immersed herself in all things needle-y… sewing, quilting, cross-stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, needle-punch, wool applique, knitting, crochet, and Dorset Buttons.  Get ready for some fun, a little history, and some hands-on learning with Joy in this introductory Dorset Button class!
The cost of the class is $55 – please be sure to give us a call at 830.995.5539 to reserve your spot.
