The Tinsmith’s Wife Reopens on Friday May 1st

Looking forward to seeing you again!

On Friday, May 1, The Tinsmith’s Wife will again welcome customers through our doors to browse and shop.

We recognize and respect that there are many that are not yet ready to re-engage for in-person shopping.   As such, we are here to help you with our “retail-to-go” efforts – shipping and/or curbside pickup.

Just call, email, online shop, text, or message us.

For those that ‘need’ to come and shop in person, please know that we have ways to create a safe shopping experience.

We are mindful of this as we do have many in our customer base who are deemed in the at-risk category (e.g., greater than 65 years of age).

If you come to shop in person, we kindly ask that you:

  1. Sanitize your hands before you enter the shop.  Hand sanitizer will be available immediately outside the front door for this purpose.
  2. Wear a mask or face covering while in the shop.  So many of you have created masks, so we are looking forward to seeing these.
  3. Maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet of separation) between individuals not in your household.
  4. Sanitize your hands after you complete your purchase and get ready to leave the shop.  Hand sanitizer will be available for you at the counter.
  5. Stay home if you are ill or not feeling well.

Please know The Tinsmith’s Wife family is committed to:

  • Wearing masks or face coverings while in the shop.
  • Providing hand sanitizer at two locations.
  • Regularly disinfecting door handles, flat surfaces, etc.
  • Washing our hands regularly.
  • Creating an inspiring environment to help you create!

At this point in our re-entry into the world of normal, we are NOT encouraging anyone to sit and stitch/knit/visit at this time.  It is sad but prudent, and there will be time soon enough to gather around the tables in our happy place.

I cannot thank all for your continued support of our shop!   And when you next visit – if this week or a month from now – be prepared to love on a cat (or two) when you come – they are so desperate to see everyone.
